From Kona, to Jamaican Blue Mountain, to Java to Bourbon, there are many varieties of coffee quite seperate from the different companies which select and roast the beans. In the same way that a particular wine is grown in a specific region from a particular kind of grape, coffee varietals are identified by variety and growing region.
