I believe humans get a lot done, not because we’re smart, but because we have thumbs so we can make coffee. ~Flash Rosenberg

Sounds true to us, and with a name like “Flash Rosenberg”, he must know what he is talking about? In this post we’ll take a look at one of our preferred roasts — Columbian Coffee. Actually we’re nuts about most coffees, but they must be roasted well by experts as they are by our Select Coffee Roasters..

Columbian Coffee Roasts…

Columbian: Colombia is famous for its consistently fine, mild coffees. This influences the roasts, of course, but the results vary in surprising and pleasing ways from roaster to roaster. Coffee nuts love the sweet aromatic taste, of Columbian fine roasts, and Colombian Supremo is usually superbly balanced. Remember “Juan Valdez” and the “richest coffee in the world?” that was a popular promotion for Columbian coffee. And some of it is indeed very rich — but the best roasters know how to pick the best beans — then, a lot depends on the roast itself. We suggest a Café Altura Columbian — reviewers call their Columbian Roast, “amazing”, “delicious” and “superb”. Cup Profile: Sweet, Bright, and Rich.

Be sure to write and give us your “flash” (use the comments section below) about your favorite coffee experience. We will pick a winner each month and send you some beans so you can enjoy more coffee funk.
